Mode 1

Activating the LED strips located in the middle panel reflects light off the upper felt piece, creating a broad ambient illumination.

Mode 2

Turning on the lower LED strips allows light to pass through the perforated board, providing anti-glare lighting.

Design Inspiration

The design draws inspiration from the natural interplay between clouds and sunlight, where varying cloud densities create different levels of light filtration. This natural phenomenon is translated into an adaptable screening system that offers users precise control over privacy and light penetration.

Aesthetics

The upper piece not only reflects light emitted from the middle piece but also enhances sound privacy by absorbing noise.

& Functionality

The overlapping of perforated metal boards produces a moiré effect. It enhances both the visual and acoustic functionality of the working environment.

Showcasing at Haworth

Our team developed scaled physical prototypes of the Moiré collection and presented them at Haworth's showroom. During the presentation to Haworth teams, we demonstrated the screening system's adaptability and innovative light-filtering capabilities. The feedback was positive, with particular praise for the collection's blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal, as well as its potential applications across various workspace environments.
